Buy it!
I was scared to purchase because thereâs were no reviews available and if was a bit pricy. I love it! I use them for my son and my daycare and they are the best, only thing that I wish they had was the cámara rotation from parent unit, other than that Iâm very happy with the purchase!

Cameras are lackluster, changes over previous version mixed bag. UPDATE – both cameras dead
We bought this to replace our old model of the same item, which was great except that the cord became finicky to stay in. On this new one, they replaced the usb-type plug with a much more secure, but non-interchangeable, plug. That’s a +1. The change in the buttons, however, was a step backward. The button that changes from single camera to patrol is now buried in the menu instead of having its own button, even though there’s plenty of room for one on the front. The cameras are also not great. One of them isn’t even in color. They are zoomed too far in without the option to zoom back out. The old ones had a much more versatile zoom function. Not only that, but the picture delays and stutters, and the picture FREEZES when you push the talk button. We had no choice but to replace it, but man I wish the plug on the old one hadn’t failed.** After reading VTech answers that it is “non-expandable” i’ve knocked this down to one star. You can’t advertise that it supports 4 cameras, sell it with 2, then say you can’t add more or replace one if it breaks?? Who designed this?! Regretting this purchase. Get it together, VTech. I won’t be buying anything else of theirs.FINAL update, cameras are now both dead. Wish us luck as it appears that there is no such thing as a reliable baby monitor of any brand. I will never buy VTech again, certainly.

Good Camera but the Night Vision leaves you in the dark.
It’s a great monitor. Works great. I have one up in my daughter’s room and after my son arrives he will have one in his room. I love being able to keep an eye on both at once. That being said there are a couple of things that I would change about this monitor. Upon opening the box, it said I needed to link the cameras to the parent unit but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out how. It wasnt in the instructions, couldn’t find anything online except for a similar unit that said to select options that mine didnt even have. This was beyond frustrating. Turns out you only need to link cameras that are purchased separately. The two in the box come pre linked and I couldnt get anything to view in my daughters toom on CAM 1 but because the one I had plugged in in her room was pre linked to be CAM 2. A stupid frustration that could have been avoided had the instructions stated those two cameras came pre set up. The day time viewing for this cam is great, better than my older one. That being said, the night vision is less than satisfactory. It is extremely cloudy, almost looks like you forgot to take the protective sticker off the camera lens before using it. But nope, it’s just very cloudy and unless you know the layout and shape of everything in your child’s room, it’s hard to make out distinctive objects unless they are moving. The night view on my old monitor was significantly clearer. That being said, this monitor gets the job done. I needed one with two cameras for my expanding family and it meets that requirement. I just wish that upon unboxing the instructions were more clear and that the night vision on the better.

This is not good for a small room unless you want to be zoomed in and a newborn.
Spend the extra $20 for the monitor with panoramic view, zoomin and turning options!! This is a stationary camera. Probably for closely watching an infant sleep in the crib. If you are getting this to keep track of your active toddler, don’t do it.There are only 2 views. Zoomed in or really zoomed in! I have a average living room. About 20×20. I can see one corner of the room. The wide lense offers a slightly better view. Camera is stationary, It does not pan/turn. You have NO other view of the room, aside from what the camera is pointed towards, and the view is very close! I have an active toddler and i cant view her entire room. I can’t even get her entire bed with out the wide lense added. So I’m super disappointed in this monitor. It’s my fault. I should have read the details. The picture is very grainy. I have yet to use it at night. This review is just based upon first use.

Good for 12 months
Was not the clearest viewing camera but served the purpose. Died within a few days of its first birthday. Have another VTech camera which is a number of years old and still going. This model just didn’t make it – the viewing screen went to sleep and won’t wake up.

Excellent product, Iâve went through three different baby cameras and this is the best one by far, if it broke I would absolutely buy it again.
