    High Quality
It seems to be a well made, compact bag. Perfect for hands free hiking or walking. I’m very impressed with the quality, actually. It seems to be really durable.

Good quality but for shorter water bottles and strap is a little short
I was looking for a small, lightweight bag with a pocket to hold a water bottle that I could carry when running errands. This almost fits the bill except for one major flaw.Likes: The bag is very small and lightweight, and I like the outer fabric material. The zippers are smooth, and the front pocket is made of a thin nylon or polyester material. The bag stands up on its own with a water bottle in it, although with a taller, narrow bottle, I did have to fiddle with it a bit to balance it. I also like the back zipper pocket and the main compartment pockets.Dislikes: You can only use it with a shorter bottle. When I use it with a tall bottle, it tips over and the bottle falls out if there’s not enough weight in the main compartment to balance it (tried it with a 24 oz Takeya and 27 oz uninsulated Klean Kanteen). The cinch didn’t help hold it in place at all. With a small water bottle (Funtainer Thermos 12 oz shown, but I think a 16 oz plastic water bottle would work too), it still tilts a little, but not so much that it falls out. Since I mainly want to carry my phone and small wallet, I don’t want to have to add weight to balance the bag — that defeats the purpose of having a small, lightweight bag! They need to relocate the strap so that the bag is more balanced. There are other issues with the strap. I’m 5’3″, and it’s barely long enough for me to use crossbody and still a little shorter than I’d prefer. It doesn’t use a typical slider buckle like most bags. You adjust the strap through a snap buckle, and the loose end is secured with an elastic band. This makes it more tedious to adjust the strap while you’re wearing it. I also don’t like how you can’t detach the strap completely. One side is sewn into the bag, and the other can be detached with the snap buckle.I also got a Sole Shieldz bag for comparison. The water bottle pocket is much bigger on the Sole Shieldz bag (I can fit two of my narrow bottles in there!), it stands up on its own easier, and the strap position is more balanced. I also like that it has side mesh pockets that fit my S22 Ultra and a front middle pocket. This bag has magnets in the back that add a little weight but allow it to stick to workout equipment, fridge, metal fence, etc. My dislikes for this bag were the rubbery material, stiffer zippers, height of the zippered compartment (I like the OCE Gear bag fabric, zippers, and size better), the price, and I was looking for something a little lighter. For now, I probably won’t use this OCE Gear bag as much because I usually carry enough water for me and my two young kids. I would definitely use this with a smaller water bottle for short errands, and I might let my son use it as a satchel for his toys. If OCE Gear fixes the balance and strap issues, I would give it 5 stars. Everything else seems to be good quality. If you’re short or don’t plan to use this crossbody and like shorter water bottles, this would be a great bag for you.

Doesn’t work well with the bottles I use
This doesn’t work well for me. First of all, the bottle holder doesn’t work easily with anything except the small disposable water bottles. Larger bottles are difficult to get in and out, which to me defeats the purpose. Also, the bottle intrudes on the zippered compartment so if there’s anything in there it’s getting squashed. With a larger bottle it’s hard to take things in and out of the compartment. I was also not really a fan of how the bottle hung and swung about. It’s not bad with a small bottle, but it gets worse as you use a heaving bottle (even if it’s narrow).

OCE GEAR Water Bottle Bag with Strap
This is an acceptable hiking bag. My chief complaints with it is that the strap is a bit short. Fully extended it barely extends to my waist. On top of that, there is no way to stabilize it. It’s just a single strap that goes around your neck or shoulder and the bag will just flop around. I’ve got another similar bag that has a waist strap that keeps the bag from flopping around. Further, the bag is pretty small. A normal sized water bottle sticks well out of the top of the bag. But there is enough room for a water bottom, phone and some bug spray. Overall, it’s okay for a short hike, but not my fav.

    Exactly what I needed!
My beverage container is ALWAYS a 24oz ball jar with a neoprene wrap. (COFFEE, cold or hot!) I have to carry it in hand or carry a purse to put it in. I don’t want to carry it, so then I bring a purse. I don’t always need something with that much space. So I’ve been looking. It’s hard to know what’s going to fit. (So many photo shopped pics) And the ones made for Stanley are too tall.THIS is PERFECT!! My jar with the wrap fits perfectly! AND with the strap at it’s longest length, I can lift it up to my mouth to drink, without taking it out!! I LOVE this bag!!Now, because the jar is wide, even though it fits without effort, it does use some of the room inside. (See photo) Really not an issue for me, since my goal was mainly to carry my jar. There’s still plenty of room for my phone, credit cards, keys, snack bar or sweets and really, much more.I’m so happy that the first bag I ordered was the right bag!

Good Carrier – Needs Longer Strap
This is nice water bottle carrying bag but the strap needs to be longer. The bag itself is well made and provides some padding that I am sure acts as a bit of insulation. It is comfortable against the body when walking, even with a full water bottle in it.The extra storage is really nice. It holds a lot more than it looks like. Really can hold all of the basics needed for a short hike or walking around a park.My only complaint is the shoulder strap is too short. It sits on me like the photo shots – more up around my abdomen than my waist. There isn’t an easy way to extend the strap either. For this reason, I think it is better for someone with a small frame. Unless you don’t mind where it rests.

    Decent water bottle bag!
Fits a variety of size bottles. Looks decent. Easy to reach your bottle. Hands free carrying. The pocket is helpful to put other small items. Great!
