Great bag for hiking.
This is a great high quality water pack for hiking. It is easy to assemble and use. It can be difficult to fill the water bladder due to the size of the hole to fill it but itâs nice to have a bigger one in case you wanted to add ice. If the bladder is full, the bag has some extra room but not a lot. But you can clip things into the bag and itâs really comfortable and lightweight for the hikes.

Well insulated, durable and incredibly lightweight.
I’m not fond of writing reciews, but I am so in love with this product and brand I absolutely have to.First and foremost, waterbuffalo’s mission statement is to provide clean water to those without access to it. So that in and of it self sets this company one step above the rest.Secondly, this bag is made with durability in mind. I am not exactly the most coordinated so knowing my water supply isnt going to burst when I eat shit is awesome.Thirdly, its incredibly lightweight and storage friendly. I am able to fit a small towel, my phone, my keys, and some snacks in my bag along with the filled 2 L bladder which is more than enough for my average 5.6 mile hike.And Lastly, I feel this may be under appreciated, it is well insulated and waterproof. I was so worried that the condensation from the bladder was going g to soak my stuff and that it was going to loose it’s cold temp but low and behold the pouch for the bladder is insulated and kept it cold all 5+ miles and 105°. None of my items were even remotely moist. All in all I will definitely recommend this product and continue to order from them.

Effective
I bought this for a music festival and it was such a lifesaver! If you go to music festivals you know buying the water can get EXPENSIVE, so if you have the opportunity to use this at refill stations instead you save all the money or more that you spend buying this product in my opinion. The opening/closing part can be a bit difficult, so I had some leaking at first, but you just have to be careful itâs closed all the way. Itâs not too heavy either which is nice when youâre trying to run around a festival all day. It also having just 2 pockets is perfect for most festival rules. Would purchase again!

Versatile
My son used the whole set briefly. He ended up taking out the bladder and putting it in his 24 hour backpack to lessen his baggage and it still worked perfectly. It’s nice that it can be used either way. He followed the first use instructions and it tasted fine. No plastic or chemical taste. The water flow was smooth. No air bubbles or trouble ag all. Would definitely buy again. It also got to us fast.

Almost perfect
We ordered 2 of these at the same time, one for my wife and one for me during ski season.Let me preface, the bag itself is incredible the straps feel nice and fit snug, the material is durable and theres plenty of storage space for a day on the slopes.However we ran into a couple of issues with ours.Mine came as pictured with the 90 degree nozzle that twists to lock and a soft rubbery strap to the cap which has been great. My wife’s came with a straight nozzle that you have to pull to unlock sometimes causing the silicone to pull off. It also had a hard plasic strap to the cap, hers felt much cheaper and broke after 4 uses. We’ve since replaced it. So that was a bummer.On the very first use of my bag the fill lid leaked (getting your back soaked is a REAL bummer on the mountain at 20F) turns out theres a little imperfection on the seal inside the lid (at the bottom of the lid in the picture) . Not as easy a fix as my wife’s problem so i have to really tighten the crap out of it to keep it from leaking.Without these quality issues this would absolutely be a 5 star. We still use them and love them. Just wish they had shown up in proper working order.
