Love it!
I had the plastic one from same brand and it worked great for years. Saved us a lot of $ and reduced plastic. Tastes good or tastes like nothing which is how water should be! I like the stainless steal version and hope it holds up as well as the other model did. It is real stainless steel of good quality and looks great. I like the stream better than the spray. I have animals also and our city water is horrible, especially for the fish bc they are extremely sensitive. I use water conditioner for that but I have water testing kits that pick up on pollutants and itâs the same filter inside as previously used so I think for me this filter will do the job. Everyoneâs water quality and installation experience will be different but for me Waterdrops instructions and products were easy for me to understand and I have had zero issues with leaking or poor tasting water. I recommend this if you are someone who isnât very handy bc you can figure it out fairly easily and quickly install with no tools!

Much better than the plastic version
I used Waterdrop’s plastic water filter for the past few years, which was quite good but has a couple little issues that got annoying enough that I figured I’d try an upgrade. 1) The water in the plastic filter comes out in a “spray” both via the filter and from the tap, which might be good for some but I found very annoying (especially for filling bottles). 2) Hard water and plastic aren’t a great combination – microabrasions in the plastic results in mold as water and minerals catch in there, so it needs to be cleaned regularly. The stainless steel version feels much more premium – the switch between filtered and unfiltered water is oddly satisfying to use and puts less pressure on the sink, and water comes out in a normal stream rather than the odd spray the plastic version has. It’s also much easier to keep clean (not to mention looks nicer on your counter). Both versions are equally easy to install. The only room for improvement I can see is that the unfiltered aerator isn’t a separate piece, so if you want to remove it to clean (it’s good to give them an occasional white vinegar soak in a hard water household), you’ve got to remove the entire assembly. That’s a pretty mild complaint though in a really nicely-made little filter. The one edge I’d give the plastic one is that the filter container, which clicks open with a short twist from the top, is a bit more convenient than the stainless steel version’s unscrewable bottom, but the difference in the stainless steel version seems better for durability in the long run.If you’re debating between the plastic and the stainless steel version and think you’re going to use it for years, I’d suggest just spending the few extra bucks and getting the stainless steel one, since it’s just nicer to use, easier to maintain, and I think worth the extra cost, though if you’re just trying out water filters, the plastic one is still a nice cheap one to start with, and you’ll be getting good-tasting water either way.

Needs a better aerator
I live in a really old apartment building and if I leave town for over a week, sometimes the water doesnât look completely clear when I first turn on the tap. This filter makes me feel better about my drinking water. I used to just use Britta filters religiously, but this is so much more convenient, especially for filling pots for cooking. The one con is that you have to remove your existing aerator to install it, and whatever aerator is built into the filter isnât the best. This causes quite a bit of spattering when Iâm doing dishes in the sink. Luckily, customer service is really nice and offered me a replacement, but I still seem to have similar issues with the second one. Not sure if thereâs a great fix for this.

A great purchase
I thought my daughter was going to put it together, but I was able to figure it out myself. I’m 67 lol. So easy to assemble. I had her tast the water first, and it was clear after I let it run, the water flow and taste is great. The value for the money, and functionality is what I needed, it helps me from lifting 40 bottles cases of water. Sofar it seems durable, the size is great not to large, it’s a slim look and I like that, its easy cleaning. I would recommend others to make this purchase. Yes again durability.

Incorrect Product Description
I researched before buying this product. Pros and Cons to note before buying this-Cons:1. On the Amazon description, it is written that it removes Flouride, which I conformed by calling to their customer care number. However, on email the Waterdrop care team replied that it does not remove Flouride. Although I appreciate their genuine response, there is a discrepancy on the Waterdop’s website and Amazon’s page of this product.2. It comes with a Prop 65 Warning, which made me a bit nervous to use it for drinking water. I emailed them, and they said the same thing as written on Amazon. But I don’t understand if there is nothing in this filter, why do they add this warning? I was told that the inspection can happen which is costly, so I do emphasize with them on this. However, I would appreciate highlighting this on the Amazon’s description.Pros:1. It is made of steel, which is hard to find. I wanted Pur Plus, but it is plastic which is clear no for drinking water.2. The company that makes these filters is big and manufactures a lot of filters. This filter also has Aesthetic NSF certifications.Overall, the Prop 65 warning is still worrisome for me, so consider that before buying this. The water taste does improved after putting this filter.

I installed this today and it was very easy to install. I didnât have it lined up quite right with the faucet at first so it was dripping a bit. I just had to push up to make a proper seal and then tighten a bit more and it was perfect. The water tastes very good and I like how the water flow is good from both the regular water and filtered water areas. So far Iâm liking it much more than my Brita stainless steel faucet water filter! It looks nice, the water flow is better and the replacement filters are way less expensive!

Brilliant. Not only less than 1/3 of the price of the branded product, this alternative filter fits perfectly and simply clicks into place with a simple 1/4 turn. It took me literally 10 seconds. After the requisite flushing as with any new filter, the water was once again perfect. No more oily film on green tea. I highly recommend this replacement filter and shall definitely be buying it again from this supplier. Really first class.

I just got this unit installed, which was very straightforward, and so far it is doing a great job removing the chlorine flavour from otherwise gross municipal water. The filter housing, joints, tap and connectors are all stainless steel. The unit looks and feels like it will last a good while. Four high-quality steel adaptors are included to fit various sorts of faucet, as well as some plumber’s tape, all very well packaged. These accessories are a thoughtful move on the manufacturer’s part, and help to ensure that you’re not paying $50 for something that won’t fit your tap. Nicely done.

So far itâs love! I have only ever used Brita and Zero water systems. I loved the later but really wanted to go back to a faucet filter for ease and counter space. Previously our Brita faucet was super slow, flimsy plastic that cracked and the switch was hard to operate. But this Waterdrop is so refreshing!!! The stainless steel feels sturdy and it flows so fast!! And the switch is so easy to operate even my kids can use it now. I am so so very happy. And thank you for including plumbers tape!!

It was very easy to install works good except it does not have a spray option for regular water use. And you have to wait for a bit to get water from filter side of it. Otherwise for the price I guess itâs good choice.
