Truly water repellent, may I even say proof!
My toddler child, toddler dog, and toddler cat have put these through the test of time. We got three to cover a sectional. They have spilled so much on it and it has never seeped through to the actual sofa cushion. It so far is hard to stain. I highly recommend!

Water-resistant, not waterproof. Still better than normal blanket
These are far more water resistant than a normal blanket but not completely waterproof. They look and feel like a normal blanket though. Good for little spills, not big ones

NOT WATERPROOF!
I liked it as far as quality of how it was made and looks but it is most definitely NOT waterproof! I had it laying on my bed and my new puppy decided to pee. Needles to say it went all the way through to my duvet cover. Being waterproof is why I even bought it. Now it will only be used to protect against dirt or hair when needed.

Buscaba un protector que abarcara respaldo y asiento y que su color se acercara al de mi sofá, cosa que encontré en éste producto. El tamaño está un poco justo pero no me molesta en lo absoluto, mientras mi gata pueda subirse y no me llene de pelos el sofá, estoy bien. Cosa que a la hora de limpiar, es bastante fácil quitar sus pelitos con un buen cepillo. El grosor del producto es bueno y se ve justo como en la imagen. No puedo decir si protege contra lÃquidos porque no se ha derramado ningún lÃquido aún, pero si llega a pasar, actualizaré acorde. En resumen, estoy muy satisfecha con la compra y mi gatita también jaja.

Compré dos, una para cubrir un sillón para los perros y la otra la uso como si fuera un edredón ligero para mà cuando viajo, próximamente compraré otra, para mà es el tipo de artÃculos que no pueden faltar en el carro ¿Fuiste a la playa y vienes mojado? Cubres el asiento ¿A alguien de tus acompañantes en el coche le da frÃo? Lo pueden usar como cobertor, ¿Quieres tirarte a dormir una siesta en el parque? Sacas el cobertor, se los recomiendo mucho.
