Surprisingly Luxurious
I have two elderly indoor dogs, both of which have issues with shedding and paw licking and because they sleep at the foot of my bed, it was not uncommon to find wet spots and dog hair on my comforter on a regular basis, resulting in my having to either vacuum surface dog hair or change out linens nightly before I could even get in bed. Another reason I wanted a waterproof protective layer is that I use an electric blanket as a middle layer during colder months which both dogs seem to really enjoy but did not want to risk potential injury to my dogs or damage to my blanket. The blanket arrived in a vacuum sealed plastic packaging and upon opening I was truly blown away by how beautiful and luxurious this dog blanket is, to the point I even double checked the label to confirm that this was indeed a dog blanket. It appears to be very well made lined with plush, warming Sherpa on one side while the reverse features a rich, shiny velour that exudes elegance. I really could not be happier with this blanket and my dogs absolutely love it. I will definitely be buying more and also think it will be a great gift next Christmas for all of my pet loving friends and family members.

I now own 3 of these, one of the small for a dog bed and two large and all three are equally great. Somehow they come smelling amazing, usually anything that comes goes right into the wash as soon as I know I’m not returning it, first because ew and second because I have such sensitive skin that even trying on factory clothes quickly to see if they fit can cause a rash but with these they were well shrink wrapped, super soft and smelled extremely fresh I didn’t and had no problems. If I had to guess they actually wash their item in sensitive detergent before shipping it out and I’d love to know which one they use since despite being sensitive enough to not cause an issue it still had a lovely yet not overpowering scent. The scent does wash out if thats a concern for you. These are incredibly soft blankets that wash well and did seem to be waterproof as they beaded water I tested them with. We air dry to try to maintain the waterproofness but even if that dissipated, its still a great blanket and probably thick enough not that much water would be getting through either way.

SO soft I fell asleep with it. Came a little smelly—like burned plastic—but that cleared up quickly. It was easy to wash, though it took two dry cycles because once it did absorb water it really held onto it. Super easy to use, super easy to clean. Color is fine, weight is light.

It’s very warm and comfortable
I bought this to make my girlfriend more comfortable with our sex life and her squirting. Haven’t been able to test it out on that yet but it is super soft and comfortable otherwise.Definitely a good deal considering the price of the other blankets of a similar style.Even though it’s waterproof it doesn’t crinkle or make any noise as if there’s plastic inside of it.The weight is fairly light. I was hoping for a thicker blanket but it’s plenty warm even considering how light it is.

I am using this blanket to enhance their new ortho beds. Will provide protection for the bed when they are licking their paws for example. It’s a very cozy & substantial blanket. I have 2 other types which are more flimsy. This one has some depth to it. This is the 3rd one that I have recently purchased. We have 2 large dogs with beds in our main entertainment area. The beds are matching & these blankets match as well. I purchase the Grey or slate colour which works well with any black hair from the dogs. Looks great. I made sure to buy a size that is significantly larger than the bed for best protection for the bed. That also gives them lots of material to cuddle into. The material is fairly thick which gives it a nice texture & allows it to stay mostly in place. No question that it is warm. I made sure to purchase a size larger than the bed. It is easy to fold to whatever size you prefer but gives full coverage over the raised sides of the bed for greater protection. The only caution is if they are chewing on something that results in bits on the blanket – the bits will stick to the blanket which I don’t want. To avoid this I place a towel in the area where the chewing is going on thus avoiding a sticky mess on this beautiful blanket. The fact that I have now purchased 3 in a row tells you that I’m am really pleased with the product & the pricing. Excellent value for the money. Also looks very attractive in the area of the house where we spend most of our time!

This blanket has changed our life! My kitty tends to make a big mess when it plays on the bed, so we needed something waterproof that could contain the mess it made. We considered some of the “adult” blankets for cats but decided on this one because it was a lot cheaper. Trust me when I say it can contain literal puddles of *water* and not a drop gets through. (We’ve also washed it a few times and it washes perfectly fine, you will either need to dry it on a heavy duty cycle or two rounds since it is waterproof, it can take a lot to dry after washing.) Now my kitty can play as long as it wants without worrying about the mess it will make. It’s also Very soft and you would never guess that it is a blanket marketed for pets. This blanket is durable, comfortable and functional and Hopefully this review will help others with similar interests find what their looking for.
