    German Shepherd approved
ZanderBlue’s eaten Wellness his whole life. Typically the large breed variety since we travel often. Plus, I buy extra groceries like wild caught fish, organic chicken and beef, etc plus he enjoys garden veggies approved for shepherds. While getting his teeth cleaned the doctor found a chipped tooth. Apparently large dogs on a hard toy can chip off a piece. Out with that toy at his friends house. Only 💯 Kong toys from now on.During the healing process the doctor said soft food. Besides soaking his regular food used this canned product while he recovered once a day.The only thing I noticed after feeding him a can mixed with water at bed is this dog couldn’t make it to his normal wake up. We usually wake up around seven. No alarm. This poor boy woke me in the middle of the night. I don’t think his system could handle the amount of soft food. And the switch being so extreme despite he gets small amounts of other things like if I eat an organic chicken he gets half. Same with steak or whatever. So it’s not as though he’s not exposed to lots of different foods. Each day he seems the same but not as early. I checked his poop and no soft stool. We still have four cans left. I’m saving them for random meals since the quality date is for another year.I prefer giving ZanderBlue organic food choices and appreciate the Large Breed variety. He has a beautiful coat and seems very well. No health issues and appears to be happy to enjoy his meals. To include additions. Like bacon grease added or chop meat and the juice. Today was a couple of wild caught sardines. There’s no way I can supplement all the nutrients. For us Wellness works.Would I recommend this product? Yes, if soft food is required. For us, price is steep as the vet said three cans a day would be perfect, and our guy has a lot of food choices already along with making his Large Breed enjoyable mixing it up different ways.We won’t use it regularly, but as needed this is our first choice⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

    Great product
Mixes well with all other foods and my dog loves it. I just add a tablespoon (or less) to his dry dog food and mix it in well and he goes bonkers for it.

    Dogs love it
This is my dogs favorite food/food additive. My dogs (at least one of them) can be a picky eater from time to time. She will always eat Wellness 95% canned dog food, especially the lamb.I make sure I always have it in stock.However. it should be noted in case you do not read the back of the back. This is a supplemental dog food, meaning it is meant to be mixed in with dry dog food, a raw diet, etc. This food alone, if fed on a daily basis, does not provide all the nutrients needed by itself. It needs to be mixed with a food that has all of the daily recommended nutrients by AAFCO.With that being said, it is a high quality supplement, made in the USA. Wellness also has a money back or exchange guarantee. Just hold on to the unused portion and keep your receipt.I highly recommend this food for your dogs.

    Dogs like it.
It looks like it is better than a lot of other food, has a good reputation, but who knows. Dog food companies and the USDA that regulates them have been very deceiving about their foods for decades now. Even the companies that are supposed to be good and are extremely expensive cannot be trusted. I have seen very good dog foods turn to crap after being bought out, and ingrediants changed withou notice even with the same ownership. So we do the best we can, and hope for the best. Unfortunately human food is the same way.

Excellent Food if Your Dog CAN’T Have Chicken!
At the time we had a French bull dog and Pit Bull that had various food allergies with sensitive stomachs and this food was exactly what it said it was! We were incredibly relieved that we had a food topper to add to their kibble that was not chicken based or contaminated. Recommend!!

    Awesome Lamb Topper
The dogs love to get a dollop of the lamb mixed light into their kibble. I’ve used it to hide pills in and they don’t even sniff twice at the meaty morsel. In my opinion, it is healthier than the pre made pill pockets and the dogs love the canned lamp better than the pill pockets.

    Beware: Possible Recalled Product
Our dog has VERY high levels of thyroid, and the vet asked me to check her treats and food, since she is not exposed to any thyroid medication she might have ingested. She eats this topper everyday. We learned that this brand and beef topper has been recalled for mixing thyroid with other meat products causing many dog to develop health conditions. I do not know that this particular batch being sold here is prior to recall and fixing. but since none of the other products she is eating have the ingredients which could cause this issue, by process of elimination we are refocused here again. There is no way to know if this seller is selling a batch of bad food or not, but I would suggest you have your dog’s thyroid checked if you have been purchasing it for a while! Many people try to offload recalled goods on Amazon, and/or make money off of how cheaply the seller purchased the recalled product to make a sizeable pay on the resell. Just be sure. Have your dog’s thyroid CHECKED.

I bought this to make my dog more interested in his food as after surgery he wasn’t as excited to be eating anymore. I was slightly leery of a canned food because last time I fed him canned food his farts were horrible and it gave him diarrhea. This food however hasn’t bothered him at all, no stinky farts and his poops are great! And he looooves eating it mixed in with his kibble 🙂
