Love this cat food
This was a favorite cat food because of the high protein content and ingredients list. Unfortunately, two of my cats began vomiting this food up, after years of eating it. Had they not, it would still be the only dry cat food I would buy.

Iâve always given my cats meow mix and similar foods until one of my male cats started having issues with urine blockages. He sadly passed away from those issues and so I made the decision to try out this food since it was recommended to me by a family member. I started to notice it made a difference with my other male catâs coat and he became very soft. I started reading articles that talked about cats who eat seafood based diets, and turns out they tend to have less issues digesting because itâs easier than digesting chicken and beef. Always add your own hydration to the food like water or wet food, especially for male cats, but Iâm satisfied with this cat food.

Catisfaction Guarantee!
My cat has been on a fantastic protein dense kibble but, him is getting really chunky! So it was time to move him to something a little lighter in the calorie department. I spent many hours researching foods before landing on this food by Wellness. On paper, it’s a fantastic food! When I received and opened the food, it smelled like it should be appetizing to my feline as well. I mixed in a 25/75% of new to old and sat it down for him, he went right to it and started eating, but quickly began spitting out the Wellness kibbles. In short order, he lost all trust in his food dish and went on a hunger strike until I could convince him to trust his old food again. Stressed and disappointed that he didn’t like the food I spent so much time finding for him, I wrote to Wellness about their “catisfaction guarantee” and within 3 weeks they sent me out a check to reimburse me for the food my feline didn’t like. I gave the food 4 stars because I still believe it’s a good food, just my cat is toooo picky (he also won’t eat any, and I mean ANY, wet food. Have you ever heard of such?). I went through 3 more weight-control foods before finally finding one he would eat. I’m still disappointed but very pleased with my interaction with Wellness and still believe this is a good food.

Better ingredients than most. I love that the bites aren’t too big for a feline’s small mouth. Our kitty also has a shiny healthy coat, and no vomiting as cats tend to do. No bad cat breath, his urine and poo doesn’t seem to smell as awful either.Grain free too so no added fillers. Only thing to complain about is there’s a lot of “dust” at the end and he won’t eat it and I don’t blame him.Maybe do more shifting.

From the ingredient list, this is an overall healthy cat food. There are no cheap and unhealthy fillers/carbs like tapioca starch, oatmeal, corn or soy. Cats do not require these at all in any amount as they only cause health issues in the long term.My cat loves it and every time I open the bag he comes to me purring.Unfortunately the price has doubled since I bought it and is now unaffordable so I will have to look elsewhere. It’s really too bad because this was the only cat food I could find with decent ingredients that is grain free and low carb at a reasonable price. I’m sure it’s inflation but I just didn’t expect the cost to jump this much. Otherwise I’d give it a 5 star rating.
