Smells like assâ¦but Benjamin loves it!
Benjamin B. Buttnugget would like to announce that âBooyaâ is his favorite flavor. This cat food smells like ass. Fair warning. But damn, cats love it! As a neutered male cat owner, I appreciate the high moisture content of this food which can help prevent urinary issues in neutered males. Benjamin appreciates the quality of the ingredients; real meat and gravy! His favorites!Since Benjamin is a single cat, I can afford this food. But if feeding multiple cats or on a shoestring budget, this food may not be for you and your feline family. That being said, I have been able to stretch the pouches on thin weeks with a little low sodium chicken brothâ¦Benjamin loves this foodâ¦and when you decide to share your home with a tiny carnivore, who may or may not look at you as a food source, itâs important to feed them what they want!If your cat channels itâs inner predator and appreciates a meat diet without crazy fillers- give this stuff a try. Just plug your nose as you feed it! ð

Updated review, 1 year laterâ I have finally found THE ONE.
UPDATED REVIEW (9/6/20)It has been nearly a year and my cat still loves these Weruva Oh My Gravy products. Over time I have oscillated back and forth between the cans and the pouches, for various reasons. I have noticed that the pouches definitely contain more gravy and smaller-sized chucks of meat than the same exact product but in a can. Overall, it doesnât seem to make too much of a difference; she will eat it either way. There are definitely a few flavors that she wonât touch (and 2-3 that she goes bat-shit-crazy for) but there is such a great variety of flavors to choose from that I am still able to switch it up and keep her satisfied day after day. Also, If you give your cat any supplements (either liquid or powder) the large amount of gravy and smaller-sized chunks of meat allow for easy mixing/hiding/dissolving. Win-win!ORIGINAL REVIEW (10/7/19)*fingers crossed* I might have finally found my cats wet food!! You guys do not even know the journey that I have been on since transitioning from dry to wet food. LET ME TELL YOU it has not been easy. First we eliminated any products that werenât grain or carrageenan free and some other things I didnât want my cat eating. (Yes Iâm one of t h o s e cat moms.) Then was the oh so miserable search for what texture of food she likes. She doesnât do pate which right away eliminated the majority of wet food options. But then there is like stew and chunks and shredded and a billion other options. One thing I discovered pretty quickly is that SHE LOVES GRAVY. To the annoying point where she will just lick up all of the gravy from food and leave just strands or chunks of meat sitting there. Itâs like having a child who will only eat the marshmallows from Lucy Charms. Soooo annoying!! I was legit starting to worry about my cats nutritional profile. Another issue we were having was that after a few days or weeks of eating the same brand of wet food she would just become bored of it a just stop eating it? At first I thought it was a lack of flavor options or variety but I soon learned that was not the issue. I have tried everything from Tiki Cat to Taste of the Wild to Merrick to Purina and back again. I EVEN TRIED RAW FOOD. Iâm not kidding I was desperate. Nothing stuck. You know when they tell you to transition your cat slowly to a new food? My method for a while was just to stun the heck out of her with different brands and flavors just to get her to eat her food.In walks Weruvaâs BFF Oh My Gravy. She loves this stuff. She laps it up in minutes and meows for more. Itâs a consistency in which she actually eats the meat with the gravy!!! She enjoys the variety and Iâm learning which flavors she prefers. I also surprisingly love the pouches. I was a bit hesitant at first but now I prefer them so much more than the cans! I also love that I can add water to the food when sheâs a little dehydrated and it actually mixes with and increases the amount of gravy in her food vs it doing that thing where there is just water pooling around the gravy and/or watering it down to the point where my cats just lifts her nose at it. Another thing I surprisingly love are the 3oz portions. During this search I noticed she didnât enjoy eating cold food that was stored in the fridge (when I bought 5.5oz cans and fed her half) nor did she like it when I heated it up for a few seconds in the microwave. (She also couldnât finish a full 5oz serving in one sitting so it was being thrown out and wasted.) Talk about a picky cat. Now I pay a little bit more for the smaller 3oz portions but I get a cat that actually eats her food up vs wasting it. I think it saves me more in the long run.I am praying this one sticks and she doesnât get âboredâ after a few more weeks of the same food. Only time will tell. But so far Iâm impressed!!

Great!
My cats love this. Split one serving between two and that works for them. They especially enjoy the gravy part and lap it up. Great product.

Good indegredients and a fair price.
Overall this has been very good and both my cats and I are happy with the food. I use to purchase Tiki cat food as I prefer feed that is natural whole ingredients without much filler, but Tiki has continuously gotten more expensive and it is hard to justify the price. Additionally, I have an older cat that prefers a looser more gravy based food which are harder to find.Weruva has filled both those requirements and also has a good price for what you get compared to other similar foods. The cats certainly enjoy it and they get this as an addition to dry food that they have free access to. My only complaint is the packaging is not my personal favorite. Pouches tend to be harder to get all the contents out of and these particular pouches do not open very well with the provided tear notches. They often tear unevenly or not at all and you are better off just using scissors to cleanly cut them open, but this is a minor annoyance and I did reduce the score by 1 star for it.So overall very happy with the food as are my cats. Oh, and as a side note, the food can be kinda strong smelling but that is par for the course with real fish food.

my ckd cat loves this tuna pouch even more than the chicken pouches. it is a reddish thick gravy with some lumps of meat. i have to mash the bigger lumps for her. due to the high price point, i mainly use it as a vehicle for her powdered medicines, or to mix with her prescription food which she hates. if it was more affordable, i would switch to this fully.

My cats love this food. They go crazy for it. I also love that it has a higher water content so I know that my pets are keeping hydrated and healthy. ð¥°

There is something in these pouches that the cats love, they seem to go crazy for them. They are quite pricey so I take a pouch and mix it in with their regular food. The only problem is when you go back to feeding them just regular food, they look at me as if they were saying âwhere is the rest of that good stuffð¹â

The two cats so far love this food ! I serve it with others brands !
