Note:
1. Be sure to turn on the headset until after the completion of the connection. If you turn on the headphone first, then connect to the device via cable, you will hear current noise, even blasting sound, because of the connection between cable and port.
2. Never attempt to recharge conventional dry cells.
3. Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
4. Never use another type of battery or non-rechargeable batteries to replace the rechargeable (LR03/AAA) batteries supplied.
5. When the headphones are not in use, switch them OFF to avoid damaging the batteries.
6. Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.

How to Set PCM if Has no Sound

When using optical cable to connect the headphone with your smart tv, please must set the TV into the PCM model first! Or there will be no sound in headphones.
Step 1 Press “Menu” on the remote control. If you do not have a remote control, press “Menu” on the television.
Step 2 Press the arrow keys on the remote to scroll to “Audio Settings.” If you do not have a remote control, press the “Volume Up” and “Volume Down” buttons to scroll.
Step 3 Press “OK” on the remote control. Press “Enter” on the television if you do not have a remote. If the television doesn’t have an “Enter” button, the “Menu” button is often used.
Step 4 Scroll to “Advanced Audio” and press “OK.” Some televisions may not have an “Advanced Audio” menu and may list various audio settings instead.
Step 5 Scroll to “Audio Output Mode” or “Digital Audio Output Mode” and press “OK.”
Step 6 Scroll until “PCM” is displayed as the current audio output.
Step 7 Press “OK” to save the settings.
Problem You May Meet:
Q: Comes back with full volume for a few seconds
A: When turning on the headphone, keep the TV sound low or turn the volume down before wearing it.
Q: Sound only on one ear
A: Use with RCA connection, coaxial or optical connection instead of 3.5mm AV Port.
Q: The headset has sound, but the TV has no sound. Or both TV and headphones have sound.
1. Use an RCA connection or optical connection. For watching TV quietly alone, click the MUTE key to close the TV speaker by the TV remote.
2. Ensure the TV speaker is set to “headset” with 3.5mm connection, the TV speaker is set to “External Speaker” with RCA or optical connection.
3. Set the digital audio output of your device/audio source to “PCM” on TV.
Q: Cannot charge
A: Please retract the headphone band to contact the charging pin correctly when charging.
Q: The volume control doesn’t work.
A: we will replace a new set for you.
Q: Sound dropouts/disappear
1. Keep closer to the transmitter
2. Remove obstacles between the transmitter and headphones.
3. Play TV sound again and restart the headset.

Great Sound, But A Couple OF Things To Consider Before You Buy
Even with a hearing aid, I finally got to the point where additional help was needed. I finally settled on this Artiste headset. Pros. It appears to be well made. Comes with 2 pre-installed rechargeable batteries, and tap volume controls and an on/off button in the headset itself. There is also an auxiliary 3.5MM jack. The ear pieces are well padded and tight fitting, but donât expect perfect external sound blocking. If you want that go for Studio quality headsets. Set up was easy. Ear piece fit adjustment to the head and ears was also easy as well. Headset weight doesnât appear to be a problem, but thatâs personal as well. Volume level is excellent. like beauty, sound reproduction and quality is personal. For my taste, it is excellent with a fine stereo effect. Accessories include just about anything you need for different type connections. I used my TV Optical jack and I have beautiful sound. Specs say itâll work at least 100 ft away. I tried it at least 60 ft away with no loss of sound quality. Battery charging is simple. Just fit the headset on top of the charging dock being sure it makes proper contact with the contact points. Do not force it down.The charging dock/RF transmitter has a power on light and a charging indicator light that goes out when the charge is completed. There is also what appears to be a âStandbyâ light that comes on when you remove the headset. As this is a day 1 review, I canât comment at this time on battery life between charges. Maybe thatâll come later.Cons. Probably the most important to consider is the fit. By necessity it is tight and quite possibly could become very uncomfortable after several hours. In addition, I noted that due to the heat caused by the padding you do start to get a little sweaty around the ears.For those of you with very large ears (my own are pretty standard) this headset may not be for you. If either of these are a concern, it might be preferable to go with âear budsâ.

Very good headphone, easy to install
Overall, the unit was easy to install. The headphone is comfortable and very well made. The sound is very clear and the range of reception is impressive. I even had occasion to leave the room where the unit is connected to go outside to receive a package and the headphone continued to transmit the TV sound clearly and without any distortion. My primary criticism: I would prefer a button be added to control the tone of the sound so that I could adjust it to reflect more treble and a little less base. As is, the headphones only offer push buttons to turn the headset on/off and to adjust the sound up or down.

Great Sound and Quality
I got these headphones so I could hear TV better and they work wonderfully! I am very happy with them. They are very comfortable to wear even for extended periods of time like up to 3 hours or so. The controls are easy to use and one of the most important things to me is the volume stays were you put it even after turning them off and back on. I had a set before that every time you turned them on yo had to adjust the sound volume down before putting them on. I was not sure about these, but they work perfectly. The set comes with every combination of adapter or cable you could need and my husband really liked that part, it was super easy to connect up to the TV. It almost took longer to open the box than to connect them, less that 3 minutes. You don’t have to be a techie to set them up either, the instructions are clear and explain everything. I would recommend them for anyone that wants an over the ear style headset, they just work great.

I did a bunch of product and cost comparisons on optical wireless headphones and chose these for price and functionality. There are more high-end products on the market, but if you need functional, capable headphones with volume control that work with an optical connection (especially to a modern smart television set), you can’t go wrong with these.All programs, videos, and streaming media are not alike. They don’t all operate at the same level of volume. The adjustable volume control on these headphones is excellent in that regard. Itâs not a product just for seniors or the hard of hearing. Itâs for anyone who doesnât want to disturb neighbors, partners, or others in close proximity.You have to charge these headphones for at least 4-6 hours before use. Then you can use them for up to 12 hours. Sure, there are other headphones that retain their charges for up to 24 hours or greater, but let’s be honest. Are you really going to be using your headphones for an entire day or longer without a break? I don’t think so. That extra charge is completely superfluous, in my opinion. Just make sure to return these headphones to the charging dock when you’re not using them. That way, they’re always ready.Oh, and just a word for those who’ve been misinformed that optical connections don’t work with Amazon Prime or Netflix. Thatâs completely false information. You just have to make sure that your Smart TV audio controls are set to “PCM” instead of Dolby Digital. Additionally, make sure that the audio controls for your specific Netflix and Prime Video choices are set to “Stereo” or the non-5.1 option instead of Dolby Digital. You have to do both.Again, these headphones are reasonably priced, comfortable, adjustable, come with a plethora of connection options and cables, and do everything they claim and more. I don’t regret this purchase in the slightest.
