Their diluted formulas of Cedarwood and lemongrass are cat safe but peppermint is not cat safe
I’m very careful when it comes to using pest control or any chemicals around my pets and being a cat owner specifically, I know that some products that say they are safe for pets were referring to dogs more than other pets. After an incident where my pest control service changed from a cat safer product to a dog only safe product, I fired them even after they tried to make it right because the trust was gone.Now we do our own pest control. This product is made using cat safe essential oils. I was so excited to see the cedarwood oil used doesn’t appear to have any phenols in it. Cats are very sensitive to about 98% of the essential oils I own which can be toxic to them. That is why I stopped using all but two of them when I got my cats.Wondercide works well on the stray palmetto bug that gets inside, and it helps with stray ants as well. I keep the bottle away from pets when not in use and I put the cats in another room while I spray it. It does leave a bit of an oily residue that I wipe down before allowing the cats back in the room, so it doesn’t get in their fur, but I feel much better about using this product. When I don’t have the time or energy to make it myself, with phenol free cedarwood oil, this is handy to have around. As for the value, you don’t get very much of it, so I will probably make my own in the summer.

Effectiveness
This product worked well. This was my first time trying the product. The smell was great, did not bother me or my beagle. It does linger for a few or more days. Definitely u can spray directly on moths and they die. I recommend this product.

Beware of this product.
Got this product last week and was excited to try it. Well wish I had never purchased this spray. It stained the entire area I sprayed. No one mentioned that in the reviews. Buyer beware.

Smell Isn’t Quite Right
As a cat owner, I love that the ingredients in this bug spray are feline-safe. My kids are smart enough to stay away from chemicals, so I am not as worried, but my cats, not so much. I love sandalwood, so I thought this was a safe odor to choose. Unfortunately, the main thing I smell is sandalwood if the sandalwood had been sitting in a fire first. It definitely smells vaguely like burned sandalwood. This is not a terrible smell, but it’s definitely not what i expected. I mainly got this for the occasional cockroach that likes to sneak in. Since I sprayed this around where they typically sneak in, I have not seen a single one. However, I cannot say if it works to kill them since I haven’t seen one in a while. I may sneak out at some point to find an anthill and hose them down with this to see how effective it is.I do note though that at this price point, it is one of the pricier insecticides I have used. Love that it’s safe for the mammals, don’t love the price.
