Great Value, Comfortable Fit
It’s a great fit. The fabric is very soft and doesn’t chafe when you are wearing a tank top. I purchased the 30lb vest. It is a bit much, so I’m going to buy the 20lb as well. The weight is distributed fairly well. After a bit it does start to weigh on the tops of your shoulders. If you are going to pack this kind of weight I’d recommend something that has hip support as well, like a tru RukSak, or a backpacking pack with weight in it. I’ve also been using it in the gym when I do squats and lunges. Not having to hold weight in my hands has made it easier to balance. I am 5’9″ and have broad shoulders. this fit well with plenty of room to adjust. I could see if you were very petite this would swim on you. Overall for the price point I am pleased. The yucky smell went away after a couple days.

I ordered the 12lb vest and this definitely ups the intensity of walks, runs and lifting!Material- The material is not sweat-proof, but it dries quickly and doesn’t smell like my sweat.Weight Distribution- it feels like sand or metal pellets are probably inside, the stitching is sturdy and despite wearing this on runs, the weight distribution hasn’t shifted. It feels level/balanced.Safety- there are some reflective pieces that increase visibility and improve safetyTightness- I am a smaller-bodied person and the strap is able to cinch tightly and stay in place

Fit & feels great, does have an odor…
Great weighted vest! 1 star off for odor, smells like auto parts for sure Lol Should have gone with my gut feeling and went with the 20 lb. vest (5’5, 168 lbs). Purchased the 16 lb. vest and it was way too light. Walked 3 miles, felt comforting but didn’t feel like it was enhancing my workout. Fortunately, they accept returns! Returned today and purchasing the 20 lbs. It does smell and it will transfer to your clothes, so don’t wear your best t shirt or anything underneath. You can wipe it down to alleviate some of the odor and I left it sitting next to the window for a couple of days. Still repurchasing despite the odor, it’s not noticeable at all when you are outside in the fresh air, but if you’re wearing this around the house, might give you a headache/nausea. Fits great over my chest (38C), plenty of adjustable strap for larger busted women. I do recommend!

Great weighted vest. Ordered the 12lbs vest. Iâm 5â4â ~130 and my husband is 5â 8â ~ 170 and we both use it. Easy to put on, buckle across chest and adjust strap. Has removable zippered pocket for keys, money, phone, etc but isnât quite big enough for the larger size phones. No big deal, I just remove it and donât use it. Adds a lot to our walks!!

Great Option
I wanted this vest to help prepare for an upcoming trip where I will be caring a backpack while walking several miles a day. Because this was offered in many sizes I was able to select the right one for me and the weight I was expecting to carry. I am 5′ 2″ and about 135lbs, this fits me well and is easily adjustable. The quality is good and is easy to use. I recommend this for a first time weighted vest. The weight is made with sand that is not removable from the vest so this isn’t one you can take apart and throw in the wash. I just give it a scrub in my tub and hang it to dry.

I wanted a weighted vest to help me keep calm and focus. The market for adult vests is quite niche. I ordered the 4lb vest because I wanted to keep the impact on my shoulders less. It feels like wearing a backpack with a few books in it.I am a smaller person so the front clip was a good fit, but for larger chest sizes the vest strap my not fit. The extra phone strap thing is cool. The zippers clink together and make noise, so I covered on in tape.Would not recommend using while jumping.
