My cat loves the bacon flavor!
I used to buy the Temptations hairball bites and they discontinued it and I was super disappointed and itâs been over two years and my cat hasnât liked any product Iâve tried until now. These bacon flavored bites are a little pricey but itâs the only thing that my cat has a liked. I crumble one over her soft food in the morning. Works great!

My cat chews on plastic but wont go near this.
My cat sniffed this, attempted to bite it…and then walked away. These treats have been sitting on the mat for his food bowl…for a DAY. He will not touch it. I am shocked. I have bought my cat this brand (in a different flavor i suppose), it smelled bad but he still ate it and it worked well. These treats he wont even eat. He’ll chew plastic, lick bugs, & turn into usain bolt when he hears the sound of treats rattling in a container but this he wont eat. Somethings up with them.. definitely returning. lol

*****UPDATE: Thank you Zesty Paws for such a prompt response to my review. Will purchase locally from now on.I had purchased the smaller bag from Wally World and my cat liked so of course I ordered the larger version on Amazon. The Amazon of same product he vomited after about 10 minutes and went into hiding. He was okay a few hours later but refuses to eat this product again.Could be that I purchased from Amazon in summer and got locally in winter.

Smells like something that shouldnât be eaten
These things have the most horrible pungent smell. My cat who eats anything gags when trying to eat these. Heâs dumb so he just keeps trying til I finally take it away. I tried to return them but got sent to the manufacturer website on which I need to sign up for an account to get my issue resolved. Maybe something is wrong with them but Iâll never know cause Amazon wonât help.

They have a “new better taste”
Unfortunately, that new taste is a bust. The new containers i received had a “new better flavor” sticker on them. My cats were eating these just fine and looked forward to them as treats. Now they won’t touch them as a treat. I do crumble them in their food so it gets eaten that way at least. But if they had snubbed their nose at it completely, I would have had to return them. The smell is very strong and stays on my fingers even after washing my hands a couple of times. I wish they hadn’t changed the taste. I’ll probably look for something else to control hairballs. Maybe this new taste is better for some cats, unfortunately not mine. Sad because I love zesty paws products for my pets
