Much like the rest of the world, the Switch 2 saw release in Saudi Arabia on June 5th, 2025. Now just barely a month later, we’ve learned that the system is going to see a price increase in the region.
AIC, the official Nintendo distributor in Saudi Arabia, has announced that as of today, the Switch 2 has become more expensive. That goes for both the standard version and Mario Kart World bundle, and the increases are nothing to sneeze at. The standalone Switch 2 is being bumped from SAR1,999 ($533) to SAR2,149 ($573), while the Mario Kart World bundle is climbing to SAR2,349 ($626).
AIC has blamed the price increase on “global market conditions,” but they did pledge to keep prices on games, accessories and other products as they currently are. Let’s hope this isn’t the start of a price increase for the Switch 2 around the world.
